Liverpool striker Divock Origi 'out for 10 days with thigh strain'

Liverpool striker Divock Origi is reportedly expected to be out of action for the next 10 days with a thigh injury.

Liverpool striker Divock Origi is reportedly facing 10 days on the sidelines with a thigh strain.

The forward suffered the problem during a training session with the Belgium national team this week and was subsequently sent back to his club.

According to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, the injury will put Origi on the treatment table for the next 10 days, which means that he is unlikely to be available for Liverpool's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on April 2.

Origi's teammate for club and country Christian Benteke is also believed to be an injury doubt for Tuesday's international friendly against Portugal.
