Sunday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Fiorentina

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Fiorentina.

Frosinone vs. Bologna (Sunday, 11.30am)

Relegation-threatened Frosinone could slide into the bottom three this weekend if they are beaten by high-flying Bologna in this weekend's Serie A action at Stadio Benito Stirpe.

Despite a wretched sequence of results heading into gameweek 31, Eusebio Di Francesco's men have managed to stay outside the relegation places, but that could change if the league's fourth-placed side notch their 17th victory in 2023-24.

We say: Frosinone 0-1 Bologna

Despite Bologna's failure to score in their last two visits to Frosinone — a 1-0 loss in February 2016 and a goalless encounter in August 2018 — the Rossoblu should get the better of a side that have underperformed everyone else in Serie A since the start of February, picking up just two points from eight matches.

Monza vs. Napoli (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Reigning champions Napoli continue their quest to salvage something from a disastrous defence of their Serie A title, as they visit mid-table Monza on Sunday.

With a win, the hosts would join their illustrious visitors on 45 points in the standings, also improving hopes of a top-half finish.

We say: Monza 1-1 Napoli

Stature aside, there has been little to separate these clubs in Serie A this season, as both have been inconsistent and are gravitating towards mid-table. A low-scoring draw could be on the cards, then, with misfiring Napoli being frustrated again.

Cagliari vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Aiming to cement their place in Serie A's top six, Atalanta BC visit relegation-threatened Cagliari on Sunday evening.

La Dea lost the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final in midweek but are pushing hard for a place in Europe; meanwhile, their hosts are deep in danger at the other end of the standings.

We say: Cagliari 1-2 Atalanta BC

These clubs have not drawn any of their last Serie A 17 meetings, and that streak could continue on Sunday evening, when Atalanta should return to base with maximum points. Their varied attack can exploit Cagliari's dubious defence, though it will be far from a straightforward mission.

Hellas Verona vs. Genoa (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Fighting for their Serie A survival, Hellas Verona hope to continue a recent upturn on Sunday, when they welcome Genoa to Stadio Bentegodi.

While the Gialloblu are again scrapping to avoid the drop this season, their visitors have serenely secured a place in mid-table after returning to Italy's top flight.

We say: Hellas Verona 0-0 Genoa

It should be a tight contest in Verona, where the hosts have proved far tougher to beat this season, so the points may ultimately be shared. Genoa are without their main striker, while Hellas have struggled to score for some time now - a goalless stalemate could result.

Juventus vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After ending their winless run with victory in midweek, Juventus host fellow cup semi-finalists Fiorentina on Sunday, when both teams will try to transfer momentum from the Coppa Italia to Serie A.

While Juve have taken just two points from the last 12 available but beat Lazio on Tuesday, the Viola also won their first leg amid faltering form in the top flight.

We say: Juventus 1-0 Fiorentina

Both teams are desperate to stop the rot in Serie A, so a gritty contest is set to take place in Turin. As Juventus boast the better attacking options - mostly former Fiorentina players - they can snatch all three points with a single goal.
