Giuseppe Marotta: 'Inter Milan will challenge for title'

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta believes that Inter Milan could be their biggest rivals for the Serie A title this season.

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has claimed that Inter Milan will be their main challengers for the Serie A title this season.

The Bianconeri cruised to a fourth successive title last season as Inter battled their way to eighth spot under Roberto Mancini, who returned to San Siro for his second spell midway through the campaign.

Despite watching Juventus accumulate 32 more points than Inter, Marotta believes that Mancini's side can be among the contenders at the top of the table.

"I would say our big rivals are Inter - I'm impressed with them," he told reporters. "Considering their investments, they absolutely should be considered a real competitor for the Scudetto."

Juventus start the defence of their title at home to Udinese on August 23.
