Ipswich Town's Andy Drury admits that missed opportunities cost his team dearly against Leeds United.

Andy Drury has stated his belief that Ipswich Town deserved a share of the spoils from their trip to Leeds United yesterday afternoon.

Despite creating numerous chances at Elland Road, visiting Ipswich failed convert any of those and were eventually beaten 2-0 by the Whites.

However, Ipswich midfielder Drury feels that the outcome would have been different had his side managed to convert at least one of their opportunities.

"I definitely thought we deserved something – it was pretty even," he told the East Anglian Daily Times. "Both teams had spells where they were on top, but I thought we had enough chances to get something out the game, if not win it.

"We were just talking in the dressing room about a lack of quality – the finishing, I think.

"If we could have taken one of our chances and got it back to 1-1, we would have been able to take the game forward to them. So we are disappointed."

The defeat has left the Tractor Boys 20th in the Championship table.
