Martin Jol: 'Shahid Khan pleased with victory'

Fulham boss Martin Jol reveals that club owner Shahid Khan was "very pleased" with the team's victory over Crystal Palace on Monday.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has revealed that club owner Shahid Khan was "very pleased" with the team's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday.

Despite falling behind at Selhurst Park, the Cottagers came back to earn a second consecutive victory.

The result was enough to move Fulham up to 14th place in the table after eight matches.

"[Khan] was very pleased," Jol told reporters. "He said we showed a lot of resilience and mentality.

"Last time when I saw him he was very pleased as well and before that he was in Costa Rica, so he looks a happy man. He is always satisfied."

Fulham return to league action on Saturday when they make the trip to Southampton.
