Fulham manager Martin Jol has praised his players for their "fantastic" 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.

Dimitar Berbatov came back to haunt his former club at White Hart Lane as the Cottagers stretched their unbeaten run to four games in the league.

"It was a great win, that's exactly what we needed," Jol told Sky Sports News. "Especially being at White Hart Lane, to get a win is fantastic.

"It was a collective thing. In the first half we restricted them and in the second half we played ever so well and should have scored a second goal."

Fulham have moved up to 10th place in the Premier League table with the victory.
