England drop to 15th in FIFA World Rankings

England slip down to 15th in the latest FIFA World Rankings, while Belgium reach a record position of second place behind World Cup winners Germany.

England have dropped down to 15th place in the latest FIFA World Rankings, despite being unbeaten since last summer's World Cup.

The Three Lions have won all five of their qualifiers for Euro 2016 to leave them six points clear at the top of Group E, but it has not been enough to stop them falling below Costa Rica.

Meanwhile, Belgium have risen to their highest ever position of second place in the rankings, with World Cup winners Germany still leading the way.

South American giants Argentina, Colombia and Brazil make up the rest of the top five, with France and Spain just inside the top 10.

Elsewhere, Wales slipped down a spot to 22nd, Scotland rose up to 28th, Northern Ireland stumbled to 44th and the Republic of Ireland jumped to 60th.
