Pretty much a dream afternoon for Hobbs, who scored the one and only goal as Forest saw off East Midlands rivals Derby County for the first time in five attempts.
Scott Malone (Millwall)
The only reason that Malone is playing at the moment is because regular Lions left-back Shane Lowry is suspended. Millwall have won all three matches where Malone has filled in and manager Steve Lomas must consider whether to bring Lowry back when he returns next week. Malone capped a perfect run by scoring a lovely goal as Leeds were put to the sword.
Joshua King (Blackburn)
Rovers blew away Bournemouth in the first half and although he was not on the scoresheet, Norwegian wideman King was instrumental in Blackburn's attacks and set up one of their three first-half goals.
Joey Barton (QPR)
Controversial character Barton went back on his word by playing for Rangers in the Championship and he is winning the fans back over with some classy performances for the West London club. Yesterday he opened the scoring against Middlesbrough as QPR maintained their three-point lead at the top.
Danny Guthrie (Reading)
Guthrie was the difference at the Madejski, scoring both goals from free kicks as Reading ended Birmingham's recent return to form.
Martyn Woolford (Millwall)
Woolford curled home the opener against Leeds and almost scored a brilliant double, but his chip came back off the upright.
David McGoldrick (Ipswich)
It was a bit of a nothing game at Portman Road that McGoldrick won for Ipswich with two goals in four minutes midway through the opening half. The first took a lucky deflection but the second was of the highest quality as the striker turned Gordon Greer inside out before fizzing into the far corner.
Sam Vokes (Burnley)
Vokes's partnership with Ings has lit up the Championship this season and this weekend it was the former who stole the headlines with a brace of the highest quality. The first displayed his deftness with a clever chip while the second was a rocket of a volley straight from a corner.

Adam Bogdan: Bolton keeper Bogdan made sure that he will be appearing on this Christmas's blooper DVDs by somehow allowing Ed Upson's shot through his legs. Think Massimo Taibi for Manchester United against Southampton.
Goal of the Week
Sam Vokes (Burnley) vs. Charlton: It was a close call between Vokes's and McGoldrick's second goals and the former just sneaks it for his unstoppable volley straight from Junior Stanislas's outswinging corner.
