Marc Wilmots: 'Eden Hazard must score more goals'

Belgium manager Marc Wilmots challenges Eden Hazard to add more goals to his game in order to become one of the world's best players.

Belgium manager Marc Wilmots believes that "amazing" Eden Hazard must add more goals to his game in order to be considered among the world's best players.

The 23-year-old has proved to be a key player for Chelsea since joining the club from Lille two years ago, although he recently admitted himself that he has some way to go before joining the elite.

Despite this, Wilmots says that Hazard can be happy with his progress to date, which can now be used as a springboard for further success.

"Hazard is rising higher and higher," the Red Devils boss told Goal.com. "He was at Lille for two years and was already one of the best players in France. He won the league and the cup - so he already had success.

"He started early, when he was only 17 years old. I already knew him back then. And now he is 23 and a top star at Chelsea. But he has to score more goals.

"That goes for Chelsea and the national team. Eden keeps marching on and what he has done is amazing, considering his age."

Hazard has scored four goals in 13 appearances for club and country so far this season.
