Rafael Benitez reveals that he knew the goals would eventually arrive for Chelsea against Brentford.

Chelsea's interim manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that he was not concerned by his side's failure to score during the opening 45 minutes of their FA Cup tie against Brentford this afternoon.

The Blues created numerous chances before the break, but they were unable to beat Simon Moore in the away goal.

However, after the restart Benitez saw his side score four unanswered goals to reach the last 16 of the competition.

"The first half they were working very hard and the second half we knew if we kept up the tempo we would have chances and then it would be a case of us taking them," he told ITV Sport.

Benitez's team will now take on Championship outfit Middlesbrough for a place in the quarter-finals.
