Brighton lead Charlton 1-0 at half-time and look set to continue their recent good form.

Brighton & Hove Albion are on course to continue their good recent form as they lead Millwall 1-0 at half-time of their Championship match this afternoon.

The match started at quite a pace, with Thomas Kuszczak making a fine low save from Chris Wood's header before Wayne Bridge and Will Buckley also came close.

The visitors took the lead after 17 minutes when Buckley's run and cross found Ashley Barnes, who smashed his shot home from close range.

Buckley almost doubled his side's lead just after the half-hour mark as he rounded David Forde, only to see his shot cleared off the line by Shane Lowry.

Kuszczak then finished the half as he had begun it, making another good stop from Wood's header to ensure that the teams went into the break at 1-0.
