Brazil edge out South American rivals Argentina 2-0 to win the Superclasico de las Americas.

Brazil edged out South American rivals Argentina on Wednesday night to win the Superclasico de las Americas in Belem.

Second-half goals from Lucas and highly sought-after winger Neymar gave the Brazilians a 2-0 victory following a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Cordoba.

The match featured only players based locally as it is played outside FIFA's official match calendar.

Lucas, 19, not to be confused with Liverpool's central midfielder, put A Selecao ahead with a right-footed drive.

The Sao Paulo winger is one of 13 names on FIFA's players to watch in 2011, a list that includes Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, Liverpool's Jordan Henderson and Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea.

Santos's Neymar, who was linked with a host of top European clubs this summer, sealed the win for the home side in the 75th minute.
