Brighton & Hove Albion forward Leandro Trossard has emerged as a transfer target for La Liga giants Barcelona, according to a report.
The 26-year-old, who became Graham Potter's second signing at the Amex Stadium in 2019, has become a key player for the Seagulls, helping them climb to eighth in the Premier League table this season.
According to Fichajes, Barcelona have added Trossard to their shortlist for the upcoming transfer windows as head coach Xavi considers the Belgium international as an 'ideal player' for his philosophy.
The Catalan club are keen to bolster their attacking options, with Trossard joining the likes of Raheem Sterling, Edinson Cavani and Dani Olmo on their list of targets.
Barcelona are believed to have been impressed with Trossard versatility in the final third, with the forward capable of leading the line as a central striker as well as operating on both flanks or in an attacking midfield role.
Trossard, who has just over 18 months remaining on his contract, has made 79 Premier League appearances for Brighton, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists.
