Alex Grimaldo hints at Barcelona exit

Barcelona B left-back Alex Grimaldo reveals that he has no relationship with Barcelona's first-team boss Luis Enrique.

Barcelona B left-back Alex Grimaldo has revealed that he has "never spoken" to Barcelona's first-team boss Luis Enrique.

The 20-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of this season, has been with the Catalan side since 2012, making more than 70 league appearances for Barcelona's second team.

There have been calls for the left-back to be promoted into the first-team set-up at Camp Nou this season, but Grimaldo has surprisingly revealed that he has no relationship with Enrique.

"[Luis Enrique] has never spoken to me," he told RAC1. "I haven't had any contact with him, nor do I have anything to say to him."

Grimaldo, who initially started his development with Valencia, has one Spain Under-21 appearance to his name.
