Barcelona's Wilfrid Kaptoum expresses Luis Enrique gratitude

Young midfielder Wilfrid Kaptoum thanks Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique for showing faith in him after scoring his first goal for the club.

Barcelona youngster Wilfrid Kaptoum has said that he is "very grateful" to head coach Luis Enrique for giving him the chance to play for the senior side.

The 19-year-old made his third appearance of the season against Valencia last night, during which he scored Barca's equaliser in the 1-1 draw.

Speaking after the final whistle, the midfielder told the club's official website: "Personally I was really happy to score the equaliser. I was pleased to help the team.

"We youngsters have to take every chance the boss gives us. We have to work hard in every training session to get chances in the first team. I am very grateful to the coach for putting his trust in me."

Kaptoum's strike at the Mestalla extended Barca's unbeaten run to a club-record 29 matches.
