Atletico Madrid are reportedly open to the sale of Rodrigo De Paul following a falling-out between the player and the club.
The 28-year-old has failed to meet expectations on the pitch and a combination of his performances as well as controversy over some off-pitch incidents has seen the player linked with a move away.
The report comes from Calciomercato, who claim a move back to Italy may be on the cards for the former Udinese midfielder.
The report also claims that the player does not see a future at the club as he has fallen out with manager Diego Simeone, with little room to resolve the relationship.
Given the situation, Atletico are reportedly exploring options for the player to leave as early as January, be it a loan move or a permanent deal.

Juventus have been linked with signing the player, having also been credited with an interest during his time at Udinese, before he made the move to Madrid.
At the World Cup next month, he is likely to be a key player for Argentina and could use the tournament as a chance to impress clubs around Europe.
The Argentinian has still featured 10 times across all competitions for Atletico this season, starting five out of the eight games he has played in La Liga.
However, he has only managed one goal and one assist so far and has not started any of the four Champions League group games.
