Report: Galatasaray want Joel Campbell

A report claims that Galatasaray want to sign Arsenal's Joel Campbell in January.

Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal striker Joel Campbell in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old joined Arsenal from Saprissa in 2011, but has spent the last three seasons on loan, with his latest spell occurring at Olympiacos.

Campbell's performances for Costa Rica at the 2014 World Cup led to the Gunners retaining his services in the summer, but the attacker has struggled for first-team football in the new campaign.

According to Fichajes.com, Galatasaray have made their interest known and the player is said to be keen on the move.

Campbell has made just three appearances for Arsenal this season.
