Arsenal to let Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky leave in summer?

Arsenal are reportedly considering letting Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Arsenal are reportedly considering allowing Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky to leave the club for free next summer.

All three of the players' contracts will expire at the end of the season, and the club are unlikely to be offering the trio fresh terms.

According to the London Evening Standard, Arsenal are preparing to cut ties with Rosicky, Flamini and Arteta due to concerns that they cannot contribute as much on the pitch now that they are in their 30s.

Rosicky is not expected to be fit for selection until Christmas after undergoing knee surgery, while there is a feeling that Flamini has little impact on the field.

Manager Arsene Wenger reportedly values Flamini's and Arteta's influence in the dressing room, but neither has been able to hold down a regular first-team spot this season.

The report adds that Wenger will have final say on whether or not to keep hold of the experienced trio.
