Arsenal 'identify two possible Aaron Ramsey replacements'

Arsenal reportedly identify AC Milan's Franck Kessie and Cagliari Calcio's Nicolo Barella as potential replacements for Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal have reportedly settled on their two preferred replacements for Aaron Ramsey.

The Wales international has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus, and it has left the Gunners needing to assess their options ahead of the summer transfer window.

A wide range of players have been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium, but according to Calciomercato, Arsenal are likely to press ahead in their efforts to sign Franck Kessie or Nicolo Barella.

Kessie has established himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet at AC Milan, but a recent disagreement and the club's position with FFP may result in a sale being given the green light.

Barella is one of Italian football's most highly-regarded prospects, and the 22-year-old is likely to leave Cagliari Calcio before the start of next season.
