Arsenal, Atletico Madrid want Trabzonspor prospect Abdulkadir Omur?

Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are allegedly interested in signing Trabzonspor prospect Abdulkadir Omur.

Trabzonspor prospect Abdulkadir Omur has allegedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.

The 18-year-old has already become a frequent fixture of the Turkish side's first team, already having made five appearances this season.

However, former coach Sadi Tekelioglu has claimed that both Arsenal and Atletico have both started to show an interest in the youngster in recent weeks.

Tekelioglu is quoted by The Sun as saying: "Arsenal want to sign Abdulkadir. I heard that Atletico Madrid are interested in him as well, but Arsenal are ahead of them in the race to sign Omur.

"Arsene Wenger does a good job when it comes to discovering young players. Abdulkadir will be a success when he moves to Europe."

Omur has already represented Turkey at Under-19 level.
