Saturday's Premier League predictions including Chelsea vs. Brentford

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Chelsea vs. Brentford.

Chelsea welcome Brentford to Stamford Bridge for a West London derby in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

The Bees will be buzzing to face the Blues as they have picked up seven points from a possible nine available in their last three league meetings, scoring six goals and conceding only one in the process.

We say: Chelsea 2-1 Brentford

Brentford have taken advantage of Chelsea's decline in recent meetings and will hope to inflict further damage on the Blues as they endeavour to build on their victory over Burnley last time out.

However, Chelsea are beginning to turn things around under Pochettino and if their attackers lace their shooting boots on Saturday, we can see the hosts claiming a slender win at Stamford Bridge.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Bournemouth vs. Burnley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two Premier League teams under mounting pressure to turn their fortunes around and escape the relegation zone lock horns at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, as Bournemouth play host to Burnley.

While the Cherries are languishing in 19th place and are still searching for their first league win of the campaign, the Clarets are just one point and one place better off in 18th.

We say: Bournemouth 2-2 Burnley

Although it may be too early in the season to label this fixture as a six-pointer, there is no downplaying the importance of this match between two teams desperate to claim maximum points in their quest to climb away from the drop zone.

A combined 43 goals have been conceded by Bournemouth and Burnley so far this season, suggesting that there could be plenty of goalmouth action on Saturday, but with little to separate these two out-of-form teams, an entertaining score draw could be on the cards.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Arsenal vs. Sheff Utd (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Fresh from a successful Champions League sojourn in Seville, Arsenal return to Premier League duty with the visit of basement boys Sheffield United to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta's troops bested Sevilla 2-1 in their most recent European affair, while the Blades lost by the same scoreline when they tackled Manchester United in the top flight last weekend.

We say: Arsenal 3-0 Sheffield United

While Sheffield United's efforts against Man United should be rightly applauded, Heckingbottom's ravaged defence are at risk of being picked off by Arsenal, even with the Gunners prioritising possession over quickfire attacks so far this term.

The hosts have never suffered defeat to Sheffield United at their Emirates headquarters, and Arteta's troops ought to prolong that streak here with a rare home clean sheet in tow.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Wolves vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Seeking to bounce back from their first Champions League defeat of the new term, Newcastle United trek to Molineux to meet Wolverhampton Wanderers in Saturday's Premier League contest.

While the Magpies went down 1-0 to Borussia Dortmund in midweek, Gary O'Neil got one over his old side Bournemouth last weekend, overseeing a 2-1 win at his former home.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Newcastle United

Another Champions League hangover and growing injury list will hamper Newcastle's chances of an immediate response at Molineux, where Wolves have little trouble making the net ripple no matter who they are pitted against.

A decimated Magpies attack should trouble the hosts' permeable rearguard too, but we can still envisage a fresh-legged Wolves holding out for a point against their fatigued visitors.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
