Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger claims that his side have "hit the wall" following defeats to Norwich and Schalke in their last two games.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has expressed his belief that his side have "hit the wall" in their past two games.

The Gunners fell to a uninspiring 1-0 defeat at the hands of Norwich City last weekend before being beaten 2-0 by Schalke in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The consecutive defeats left Wenger scratching his head, but the veteran manager is confident that his side will return to winning ways soon enough.

"At West Ham, we looked outstanding going forwards, dynamic and then suddenly had two flat performances. It is difficult to explain," said Wenger.

"We have hit the wall a little bit in the last two games, and just did not find our rhythm. But we have to just focus again on the quality of our game, the way we want to play, and not concede too much against who we play.

"With the quality [we have], the results will come back."

Arsenal's next match comes on Saturday when they host winless Queens Park Rangers.
