Gazidis to sack Maldini at AC Milan?
AC Milan chief executive Ivan Gazidis allegedly intends to make changes behind the scenes, which may include sacking technical director Paolo Maldini.

AC Milan chief executive Ivan Gazidis is allegedly considering parting ways with technical director Paolo Maldini.

In recent months, Milan have improved on the pitch, with the Italian giants now sitting in seventh position in the Serie A standings.

However, according to the Daily Mail, there is turmoil behind the scenes due to disagreements between a number of key men.

The report suggests that the consequence will be the departure of club legend Maldini, who has held his current role since June last year.

With Maldini having helped bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to the club, it has also been claimed that the legendary Swede will turn down the chance to remain at San Siro if Maldini makes his exit.

The position of fellow important figure Zvonimir Boban is also said to be under threat.
