England captain Andrew Strauss has blamed the batsmen for their second Test loss to Pakistan earlier today.
England required 145 from their second innings to clinch victory in Abu Dhabi, but ended up falling 72 runs short of that target.
"We worked hard to get into a position to win the game, but ultimately we couldn't take that opportunity," Strauss said after the defeat.
"We've been rolled over three times out of four. The top order have got to take that on the chin and make sure it doesn't happen again."
The 72 runs England scored was their lowest ever total in Test match against Pakistan.
