The Washington Wizards could be without John Wall for the rest of the Eastern Conference semi-finals after it was confirmed that the point guard has suffered five non-displaced fractures in his left wrist.
Wall was absent as the Atlanta Hawks levelled the series on Tuesday night after falling awkwardly in game one, and the Wizards have been unable to confirm whether he will return due to the swelling.
"With the swelling and the stuff it has been, we knew maybe there's not good news there," head coach Randy Wittman told reporters.
"We will see as we move forward what that actually means. He is still consulting with doctors. It's still pretty swollen. He can't do anything let alone if he didn't have any broken bones."
The All-Star is unlikely to be fit to return for game three in Washington on Saturday.
