Portland Trail Blazers to re-evaluate CJ McCollum in six weeks

Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard CJ McCollum will miss at least the next six weeks after undergoing an ultrasound procedure on his foot.

The Portland Trail Blazers have said that CJ McCollum underwent a successful procedure to aid his recovery from a broken foot.

The guard fractured his fifth metatarsal at the weekend, before having a non-operative ultrasound procedure to aid bone growth yesterday.

The team has said that the rookie will remain sidelined indefinitely, but will be re-assessed in six weeks.

The 22-year-old was selected in the first round of this year's Draft.
