Russell Westbrook has taken part in some light training for the Oklahoma City Thunder as he continues his comeback from a knee injury.
Despite not being expected to return to the court for six more weeks, Westbrook was allowed to do some light drills with his teammates with just over a week remaining until the new NBA season begins.
"There were bits and pieces where Russell participated in practice, so that was good," Thunder head coach Scott Brooks told The Oklahoman. "It was good to get everybody out there, working together."
Westbrook has had two operations on his knee since May.
