NBA star Kevin Durant has said that he enjoys the low profile that he has in the United Kingdom.
Durant, 25, and his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates are in Manchester for a pre-season game against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Phones 4 U Arena this evening.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Durant said: "The [fame] is cool, of course I appreciate it, but I could go without it. It's cool to walk down the street and just, I guess, be a regular person.
"A lot people still come up to us because we're tall but they don't know we play for the Oklahoma City Thunder."
Durant and OKC, who were defeated by the Memphis Grizzlies in last season's Western Conference semi-finals, begin their quest for a first title at the Utah Jazz on Thursday, October 31.
