Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks has been confirmed as the Western Conference coach for next month's All-Star game.
A win for the Thunder last night, as well as defeat for the Portland Trail Blazers, ensured that Brooks's team will have a better record than their conference rivals by Sunday's deadline. San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is ineligible, having taken charge of the team last year.
Brooks previously coached in the game in 2012, leading the West to a 152-149 victory.
Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel will be in charge of the Eastern Conference side.
