Great Britain’s basketball team have suffered a second successive defeat in the Olympic test event tournament.
The British side lost 82-60 to France on Tuesday and followed that up with a 75-70 defeat to Croatia on Wednesday.
Britain had gone 13-3 ahead after four minutes against Croatia, who are ranked number 19 in the world, but eventually succumbed to defeat at the Olympic Park in London.
“All credit to Croatia, they played very well tonight and shot the ball particularly well,” said Great Britain coach Chris Finch.
"The guys did a great job. We're learning more about our team every day, which is the most important thing for us at this stage.”
Great Britain were without Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng for their opening two matches, although the 26-year-old is expected to feature in the weekend’s matches against China and Australia.
Pops Mensah-Bonsu and Ben Gordon also missed the opening matches due to injury and personal reasons respectively.
