Free agent centre Robin Lopez has reportedly picked the New York Knicks over the Los Angeles Lakers.
It is reported that as long as the Knicks do not sign DeAndre Jordan, Lopez will compete his move to the Garden, according to ESPN.
Lopez averaged 8.7 rebounds in 36 minutes per game last season, including 4.2 each contest on the offensive end.
Despite missing 23 games last year due to a broken hand, he also averaged 9.6 points and 1.4 blocks per game.
The former Portland Trail Blazers star will become the second free agent signed by the Knicks this week, after Arron Afflalo signed with the organisation.
