Metta World Peace: 'Tim Hardaway Jr can make big shots'

New York Knicks forward Metta World Peace believes that rookie teammate Tim Hardaway Jr can make big shots for the team.

Metta World Peace has praised Tim Hardaway Jr's ability to make big shots for the New York Knicks.

The duo both made their debuts for the team during the 103-102 pre-season win over the Boston Celtics last night.

The forward told ESPN: "Sometimes a stat doesn't show what a guy has in him. There's no stat for what's in his heart.

"First game and he wanted it bad. I'm pretty sure that you're going to see a lot of big shots like that for him."

Hardaway scored 16 points, with 10 coming in the fourth quarter.
