Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau has dismissed rumours that he will take charge of the New York Knicks next season.
Despite being under contract with the Bulls until the end of the 2016-17 season, recent reports have suggested that Thibodeau could be hired by the Knicks to replace Mike Woodson, who has received criticism for New York's poor form during this campaign.
However, the 55-year-old has claimed that he is not interested in leaving Chicago in the near future.
"That stuff's ridiculous. It really is. First, I was being traded," the Bulls coach told reporters. "I could care less about that stuff.
"I've said it before - I love this team, I love the guys that we have and I love the fighting spirit of this team, so that's all I'm thinking about."
Thibodeau worked as an assistant coach for the Knicks between 1996 and 2003.
