JR Smith was reportedly benched by the New York Knicks for the second time earlier this week after a run-in with head coach Mike Woodson.
The guard sat out a game earlier this month after being fined for unsportsmanlike conduct, before being left out against the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday.
According to ESPN, the 28-year-old complained to Woodson about his lack of playing time during the team's win over the Phoenix Suns.
It was recently reported that the Knicks would be looking to trade Smith, who was last season's Sixth Man of the Year, before next month's deadline.
