Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant have been named the NBA's players of the month for January.
The New York Knicks forward averaged 28.7 points per game in 16 appearances, including a career-high 62 against the Charlotte Bobcats, to claim the Eastern Conference award.
The league's leading points scorer went on a 12-game streak with 30 points or more to help the Oklahoma City Thunder to the top of the Western Conference.
The duo will face each other when the Thunder host the Knicks on Sunday.
