Incoming NBA commissioner Adam Silver has insisted that none of the current franchises are for sale.
With speculation linking the likes of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Toronto Raptors with potential sales, Silver has claimed that they have been pulled off the market.
"As we look at the coming domestic television deal and a great playoffs and Finals, there's a great buzz around the league right now," ESPN.com quotes him as saying. "There aren't any teams for sale but if there were [the price] would be robust."
Silver also revealed that a committee of owners will oversee the TV contract talks, which signals that the association is more open to input once current commissioner David Stern steps down on February 1.
