Former Milwaukee Bucks star Caron Butler is reportedly expected to sign for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The 34-year-old is a free agent after agreeing a buyout with the Bucks, and is expected to clear waivers on Saturday before joining up with his new teammates.
While the Miami Heat were also interested in acquiring him, it is understood that Butler favours a move to the Thunder where he believes he will gain more playing time, ESPN reports.
Butler averages 11.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 34 games this season, but has been struggling with an ongoing ankle sprain which has seen him fall below his career averages.
