Los Angeles Clippers co-owner Shelly Sterling has reportedly started to receive bids for the team.
The NBA are attempting to force her husband, Donald Sterling, to sell the franchise after he was recorded making racist comments, earning him a lifetime ban from the league.
According to ESPN, bids in excess of $1bn (£597m) have been made ahead of Tuesday's meeting by the NBA's board of governors to discuss to future of the team.
If 75% of other owners agree at next week's hearing, the league will be able to strip the Sterlings of the right to control the sale of the franchise.
Those interested in purchasing the team have reportedly been asked to post a $300m (£179m) deposit along with their bid.
