Golden State Warriors comeback defeats Chicago Bulls

The Golden State Warriors recover from a slow start to clinch a 102-87 win over the Chicago Bulls.

The Golden State Warriors overturned an early deficit to seal a win over the Chicago Bulls at the Oracle Arena in the NBA.

The home side found themselves behind in the opening stages of the game, trailing by 16 points at the start of the second quarter following quick starts by Taj Gibson and Kirk Hinrich.

However, the Warriors rallied, with Stephen Curry scoring from 13 of his 19 attempts from the floor, leaving him with 34 points at the end of the game.

Klay Thompson also stepped up for the injury-hit hosts with 22 to help them to a 15-point lead heading into the final five minutes of the game.

Tony Snell and Jimmy Butler tried to bring the Bulls back into contention in the final minutes, each hitting a three-pointer, while a couple of free throws left the visitors just six points down, but Curry and Jordan Crawford were able to seal the win with a late flourish.
