Randy Wittman has described the Washington Wizards as "awful" following their heavy defeat to the Golden State Warriors.
The Wizards were thrashed 112-96 at home, allowing the Warriors to outscore them by 19 points in the third quarter.
The coach told reporters: "Awful. The third quarter? Until we can learn to play through missed shots and not zap your own energy and the energy of your teammates, we're going to play like that. We're too much right now a team of frontrunners."
The Wizards face the Charlotte Bobcats tomorrow.
