Portland Trail Blazers free agent Wesley Matthews has reportedly committed to signing with the Dallas Mavericks.
Matthews has verbally agreed to join the Mavs after turning down the Sacramento Kings, according to ESPN.
It is reported that Matthews will receive a four-year deal from Dallas, as he continues his recovery from a torn Achilles which he suffered last season.
The 28-year-old averaged 15.9 points per game before missing the final 22 games of the season last year.
Portland are reportedly out of the race to re-sign him, as they focus their attention on trying to keep free agent LaMarcus Aldridge.
