Report: Cleveland Cavaliers trying to lure LeBron James back

The Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping to lure LeBron James back to the club after he decided to opt out of his contract with the Miami Heat, according to a report.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are hopeful that they can lure power forward LeBron James back to the club, according to a report.

The 29-year-old spent seven seasons with the Cavaliers before joining the Miami Heat in 2010, where he won two NBA Championships.

James has opted out of his contract with the Heat and is available on the free-agent market, although Miami are in the running to bring him back to the club.

However, Cleveland have now entered the race and believe that they can lure James back for a second spell with David Blatt's side, reports ESPN.

James has been named as MVP of the NBA four times in his 11-year career.
