Jim Harbaugh: 'I don't feel Colin Kaepernick is struggling'

Jim Harbaugh says that he fails to understand why people think that Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III are not playing well this season.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has said that he does not feel that his quarterback Colin Kaepernick is struggling to adapt.

Kaepernick and Washington Redskins opposite number Robert Griffin III have come under scrutiny in recent weeks for their performances this season, with both having impressed to a large extent as starters last year.

Ahead of the clash between the teams on Monday night, Harbaugh has stated that he is happy with the way Kaepernick has been performing.

He told ESPN.com: "We don't feel Colin Kaepernick is struggling. I think he's playing very good football. And watching RGIII on tape, I feel the same way about him.

"They've been a very productive offense. They put points on the board. They move the football and score points against everybody that they play. I guess I don't agree with the premise of the question."

Harbaugh's men currently reside in second spot in the NFC West with a 6-4 record.
