Jake Locker returns to first-team practice

Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker has returned to first-team practice for the first time since suffering a foot injury in November.

Locker saw his 2013 campaign come to a premature end against the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 10 as he went down with a season-ending injury that saw Ryan Fitzpatrick take over as starting quarterback.

However, the Titans have always maintained that Locker remains their number one choice for the role, something they were quick to reiterate having acquired veteran Charlie Whitehurst and drafted Zach Mettenberger.

Locker worked alongside his fellow quarterbacks during today's session, throwing passes to receivers on the first day of organised team activities.

The 25-year-old came through the practice without a problem and is now expected to participate fully in the team's remaining off-season activities.
