Richard Sherman doubts ban for Donald Sterling if in NFL

Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman believes that the NFL wouldn't stand up to racism like the NBA.

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman believes that the NFL would not take the same action as NBA commissioner Adam Silver when dealing with an owner making racist remarks.

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was banned for life from the NBA, but Sherman doubts that Roger Goodell would do the same.

"Because we have an NFL team called the Redskins. I don't think the NFL really is as concerned as they show. The NFL is more of a bottom-line league. If it doesn't affect their bottom line, they're not as concerned," he said, ESPN reports.

Sherman became the league's highest-paid cornerback on Wednesday after signing a four-year extension with the Seahawks.
