First-round draft pick Eric Reid signs his rookie contract with the San Francisco 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers have announced that Eric Reid has signed his rookie contract with the team.

The Super Bowl runners-up used their first-round pick during this year's draft to acquire the safety.

The 21-year-old is the last of the 49ers' selections from April's draft to pen a deal with the team.

Reid made 91 tackles and two interceptions during his final year in college.
