Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson has insisted that there is still plenty of work to be done if the team are to make the NFL playoffs.
After a solid start to the season, the Lions have lost three of their last four games and are now in danger of being pipped in the NFC North by the Chicago Bears.
Burleson told mLive.com: "We're not even thinking about the postseason. Coming off a loss, making the mistakes we have, we shouldn't even be thinking about the playoffs. We should be thinking about practice.
"It's worrisome. I've been on teams where you get run off the field and you're just not good enough to play. For us, as bad as it sounds, I'm not trying to discredit teams that are beating us, but we've had turnovers and still had a chance to win games, which is good in a way but also bad as we've lost."
The Lions face the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.
