The Cleveland Browns have agreed deals to sign former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Karlos Dansby and former San Francisco 49ers safety Donte Whitner, according to reports.
Dansby enjoyed a fine year in 2013, finishing the season with 113 tackles, 6.5 sacks and four interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns.
It was the 32-year-old's first season back with the Cardinals after he had initially left Arizona for a three-year stint with the Miami Dolphins.
He has now agreed a four-year deal with the Browns worth a reported $24m (£14.4m) overall, including $14m (£8.4m) guaranteed.
Whitner, meanwhile, has also joined on a four-year contract, although Cleveland have reportedly agreed a $28m (£16.8m) deal to secure his services.
The 28-year-old is widely regarded as one of the biggest-hitting safeties in the NFL and is considering changing his name to 'Donte Hitner' as a protest against fines given to him by the league.
