Serbia wrestler Viktor Nemes believes that he ran out of time during his men's Greco-Roman 75kg final defeat at the inaugural European Games.
Nemes had to settle for silver in Baku after being outdone 3-1 by home favourite Elvin Mursaliyev at the Heydar Aliyev Arena on Sunday.
"It started good for me because he went down in par terre position, but I couldn't score any points," Nemes told reporters after his loss.
"Then I went down in par terre, he threw me and got four points. I knew that he was going to do that lift but there was nothing I could do. Then I caught up a bit but there wasn't enough time."
Mursaliyev's nation Azerbaijan are currently leading the tournament's medals table.
