Hannah Kearney disappointed with bronze medal in moguls

American skier Hannah Kearney says that she is disappointed not to have won gold in women's moguls at the Sochi Games.

Team USA's Hannah Kearney has admitted her "disappointment" at her failure to win gold in the women's moguls at the Winter Olympics on Saturday.

The 27-year-old came third behind Canadian sisters Justine Dufour-Lapointe and Chloe Dufour-Lapointe, who clinched gold and silver respectively.

"I really feel I gave it away," she told reporters. "It was mine to ski for, and I did try my best.

"From the top, there's nowhere to go but stay there or fall. And I fell today, only two places, but enough that it really feels like a disappointment to me.

"I did win a medal for the US - that will help our medal count. But as you can hear in my voice, it's really hard. No one in life wants the best part of their career to be behind them."

The USA has won two medals so far at the Sochi Games.
